Mine is never preset to either Mode 1 or Mode 2... does it default to any particular mode? I never select one... :?

I have a hot air balloon festival here in NJ next weekend so I phoned the organizers asking for permission to fly there - within safety protocols of course and for free. They had no problem with it but told me to contact the FAA and get permission first as it is adjacent to a Class C airfield...

Hi I was thinking of taking my drone up to the top of Bear Mountain in Harriman State Park this weekend for a flyaround. Anyone know if there is any problems from law enforcement etc in doing so? Recent news events have made me nervous about flying in any governmental properties... ;)

I live in Edgewater NJ on the Hudson River. I was thinking about flying around the River this weekend for the first time to capture some cool NYC skyline shots but now I'm not too sure that's a good idea... Don't fancy being stopped by over zealous cops ..

UPDATE: I managed to get my Phantom 2 and gear on board the Norwegian Breakaway ship last week cruising to Bermuda. No problems at all. I had a backpack that fit everything within it. After videoing at two locations, I was apprehensive about returning back to the ship and having the backpack...
