Well at 6pm this evening I received a card through the door asking to pay £50 VAT (yeah the customs folk got me). Quick trip to the post office to pay and collect the parcel, got home, fitted it and was out testing in the back garden by 7pm :) easy peasy :D

How did you track your rotorpixel? I got the tracking number on my order which goes to Canada post (currently saying arrived in foreign country), when I try the number on the royal mail site it says not recognised. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't use the import function when I insert the card, I just drag and drop the files to dated folders.

Is there any way to make the camera record filenames cosecutively? My process:- go out flying and record stuff (pictures & video) come home and copy the stuff to my laptop delete stuff from memory card try and remember to put the card back in the P2V :oops: Say, for instance, the first time...

Using a servo to latch the P2V onto the summit is a great idea, I could use one of the diff-lock channels...

You may have a point there, I clearly haven't thought this through. But on the other hand I'd have fun getting there. Maybe a trailer would be better and that could carry the extra batteries etc.
