Stand on the coast and push forward at 400 ft until you lose signal and it comes back. I was nervous until I had done it. It got 4500 metres out to sea. Just beware of a head wind eating into your battery power. Calm days are best. Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

400 ft from ground level not sea level. So even though your app says 400ft you could break the rules if you fly over a valley from the top of the hill. It's never crystal clear and somebody might have a different view. Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

Now that DJI ground station is out on Ipad only I am considering an iPad mini instead of my iPhone 6+. However is the iPad mini 2 enough 4 a P4pro, DJI go 4 and DJI groundstaion pro or is it safer to for for the iPad mini 4? Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots
