There are transmitter trays offered by various companies, When I used to fly fixed wing aircraft I had a Futaba transmitter tray that also had an optional waist belt/strap but this was 15 + years ago, sold it with all my other hobby gear.
Is the OP interested in something like this? Tarot...
How I hand catch my phantom is as follows:
1. Bring in the aircraft from the flight.
2 Hold the aircraft in a hover at a height slightly above my head (approx. 6ft)
3. approach aircraft from behind and underneath, this will decrease your chances of coming in contact with moving propellers.
4. I...
Yeah if it was a stand alone system that didn't piggyback off of the DJI RC I would be a bit more interested. But having one more thing that I have to charge, carry, do firmware updates,..etc..doesn't do much for me.
I usually do one long continuous video, set up and capture are all done in one sequence. I then edit out the nonessential portions of the video for the best results. On a separate flight I will capture still photos.
Yes I would certainly agree that a fixed wing aircraft could be affected in this manner, but a multi-rotor achieves lift by it's rotors (ei propellers).
Sorry my post is confusing, but yes, basically I agree that the pilot deliberately climbed to 1000ft (which he had no business flying above 400ft. AGL, but we can save that debate for another thread). The wind did not lift the aircraft aloft to that altitude.
The post I quoted alluded to that...
Looking at the log the aircraft was climbing from takeoff, the stick input data shows it was climbing vertically climbed well past 400ft AGL 2ft. away from the point of takeoff. One minute into the flight it was at 738 ft. and 134ft. away from point of take off. Wind will move a multi-rotor...
On the right side of your controller there is a round plug, remove the plug and insert the AC adapter on your DJI charger.
EDIT to Add:
A P3 Standard will charge with a usb cable may take up to 3- 4 hours to charge.
Many people treat the battery as a tank of fuel in a vehicle. Use 25%, still have 75% left " in the tank". Unfortunately lipo batteries don't work that way and will eventually lead to a crash. Flying in excessive hear is bad for your phone and the phantom, just FYI.
I live in the southwestern...
My P3P was a factory refurbed unit from Drone Nerds, it was like a brand new unit. I have been flying it for 2+ years not a single issue. I have a Spark that was also a refurbed unit and again like new infactory packaging. I would buy with confidence. According to DJI, all refurbished units are...
I purchase the Smatree batteries for my GoPro on Amazon and they work ok. They don't last as long as the factory GoPro batteries but work fine. They will completely charge in the camera ( I have a Hero 3 White) but the kit I bought came with 2 batteries and charger for $15.99 (USD).
I believe...
