Try removing the app from the phone, power down the phone and then re-install after phone reboot.

Also on last weeks MotorWeek " SRT Viper & 2014 Toyota Highlander episode they are using the Phantom to film the overhead shots of cars on the track. Showing the 2014 SRT Viper T/A ( Track Attack ) you can see the Phantom's shadow on the ground in a few of the shots.

You will need to connect your Phantom to your computer open up the DJI Phantom 2 Assistant select the Naza button in the top bar on the upper right of the window. To switch back click on the Phantom 2 button to go back to the factory control set

Looks like the memory chip of the battery is bad. I don't think anyone has done any battery hacking yet since these are so new. How long have you have the Phantom? You might be able to get this replaced under warranty.

I liked the prop wash on the water when you started to return home. No wind there , but I could see the ripples on the water for your higher shots. How windy was it?
