I use a WiFi only iPad Air 2. I found the screen refl Clive and difficult to see in some conditions so made a hood to help with visibility. The only aspect of flight that won't work is the "follow me" options.

In answer to the original question regarding flipping. When descending the drone passes through its own turbulence. If descent is too fast it is possible for the turbulence to flip the copter upside down.

If you switch into Atti mode then you have full control of the aircraft, GPS and position control is switched off.

I would not take my drone to Turkey. There have been a number of terrorist incidents in Istanbul recently which I am sure has raised the security levels. Just asking for trouble IMHO.

A pilot friend of mine (UK) when asked about reporting near misses told me that anything within a mile is considered a near miss. How the hell you measure or estimate a mile when flying is beyond me.
