Hi Guys,
I had a holiday in New Zealand in between filming on the Volvo Ocean Race. I made a little edit of our trip!
Filmed using a Phantom 4, GH4, and NIkon d610 for the timelapses, Enjoy!
I'm selling my DJI Phantom 2 V2 with a ton of extras!
Including a hard case (RRP £150)
GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition (RRP £280) I'll incl it's waterproof case
Black Pearl Monitor with spare battery and extra AIO sun hood (RRP £140)
Immersion RC Video Receiver (RRP £25)
DJI IOSD Mini (RRP £50)...
I've flown a Phantom in 20 - 25knts, that's about 28mph max.
I wouldn't fly in anymore but as long as you stay upwind you should be fine.
However, 50mph where you are is way too much, id be out windsurfing instead! :)
I wouldn't bother, they're very brittle so will break easily.
Also if a carbon prop goes anywhere near your skin then it can do some big damage.
The genuine plastic DJI props with a bit of balance are cheap and work perfectly.
Hi All, Happy New Year!
Here's my highlight reel from filming last year. It's a mix of aerial and normal filming of sailing events, weddings, festivals etc.
I've certainly been busy since getting my Permission for Aerial Work :)
25mW is actually the legal limit for a video transmitter on the 5.8ghz range here the UK even though the shops sell 600mw versions
Mines a 25mw version for commercial work and it works fine.
Hiluxandy - Its either the new firmware update on your GoPro not allowing any video feed from the usb...
