I've been looking at those same amps but I remember reading you need to also buy attenuators to put inline before the amps so the signal feeding them is not too high. I'm guessing you haven't had any more issues with this setup after you mounted the amps off of the controller?

Would a 5.8ghz amplifier on the remote alone help this? Or does there have to be an amp on the P3S itself as well? I may start a new thread for this discussion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been using my P3S for about two weeks with the DBSmod...great improvement over stock. Anyways, whenever I lose signal it is always the RC signal, never the video...is that the same with you guys? Most of the time the RC signal is lost when I still have 75% video.

Yes it is the 22-24160 (the deep one), so far I love it. Cutting all of the foam wasn't terrible but it definitely took me about 2 hours or better to lay it all out and cut it up. The foam is pre-cut in small squares in attempt to make it easier to layout but in reality they don't all tear off...

Testing my deep case now. Leaving the bottom foam in gets it just about flush with the top of the bottom half of the case with the props on. The egg crate type foam in the top just puts a little pressure on it when its closed. ...time to start laying out the accessories

Here's mine, just finished it less than an hour ago. This is the ITE-DBS01_V.1 from ITELite's website but I made my own mount on the 3D printer today at work so I could pitch the antenna up or down. Turned out pretty good.
