All I want to achieve is more range. A "normal"range.not looking for the absolute maximum, but 50-150m is not what I thought I would have. So 1.5.7 is the firmware people are suggesting. Also, is safe to apply the PapaTita mod to a setup of 1.5.7 on the copter 1.6.8 on the RC?

Won't work. It's the link to your local hard disk. You need to share the files somewhere on the internet. Like on Dropbox, Google Drive or something like that. Also I can give you a link where you can upload the files if you like.
