You need to consider the blade pitch too. 3-bladed props can be designed to give the same amount of lift per RPM as 2-bladed if the the pitch is reduced.

I don't know if you will find silicone that is rigid enough. If your prop guard gets pushed into a prop then it defeats the purpose. Nylon or HDPE might be good material though.

HERE maps are unacceptable. They are low-res, out of date, incomplete and have extensive cloud cover in areas making them useless. Here compared to Google.

You can go pretty far in 15-20 minutes. The range extender is so you can maintain your signal between AC and RC at the greater distances.

It all depends on the state. In California it is explicitly permitted to fly in State parks. In Hawaii it is forbidden.

I bought a pair of non-DJI props from Amazon. They are so unbalanced they are unusable.

I have no choice. Mine only fits into my back one way. I would be inclined to say it does not matter.

I won't be updating. It uses Here maps now rather than Google. Here maps are old, low-res, plagued with cloud cover and don't show all the roads. In the very location I'll be flying next month the Here maps are useless. Let DJI know that we want Google maps back.

I guess I got a good deal. I purchased my refurb P3P for $679 USD. The 4K is nice if you do any video editing. Shooting in 4k and then rendering to 1080 will give you better results than shooting natively to 1080. Also, in you 4k video you can crop, pan and zoom within the frame before...
