Hi all, was looking for information on how to discharge the controller battery for winter storage. If I just turn on the controller to let it drain, the controller won't stay turned on. It shuts down automatically after 10 or 15 minutes. Is there another way to accomplish this?

I tried leaving it on to bring the battery down but it shuts itself off. Any suggestions?

Speaking of controller batteries. What’s the best way to discharge the controller battery for storage? I hate to leave it fully charged for the winter. Not really a cold weather flyer.

Hi all, hope all are well and safe. I bought and downloaded litchi on my CS. I planned and saved a mission and saved it on flylitchi.com. So how do I get it on my CS. I understand that I can load it to my CS while online with it. Do I have to be online to fly it?

So when the batteries discharge on their own do they turn on? Is it ok to leave them in the case or do they generate heat when they discharge?

No reason. I haven’t tried that yet but I was going to go in and change that limit but think it’s default is 10 days. Actually, leaving the batteries fully charged for 10 days probably isn’t good for them.

Understood but what I don’t understand is what the difference is between a downloaded map and what I get on the crystal sky with its gps. I get a 2D map with all of the area roads just like a gps in a vehicle. So what’s the point of downloading a map?

Wondering if I’m using this correctly to discharge my batteries. The manual says if bats are charged that an external power source is not needed. I have the switch on storage and I put my bats on it(3). It turns the batteries on, the lites are flashing blue. They’ve been on there almost 6 hrs...

I guess I’m confused as to what maps are. The gps gives me location on a map like my phone does when I use it to navigate to a location. It shows me where I am and where my drone is so I don’t understand what I would be downloading vs what I’m getting from the gps.

I use the crystalsky with my P4P and was wondering about offline maps. Why would I need to download a map when the CS has a gps in it. Wouldn’t I get a map for where ever my location is?
