Okay so you have to connect to your drone first by connecting to the WiFi network that your controller broadcasts (the name and password will be at the back of the controller) and then go into the camera and make sure it's all connected, then it will ask to update firmware and you just follow...

And have you installed all the latest firmware?

That is probably your issue then. Other WiFi signals are interfering with the connection between your controller and the phantom. Try getting a WiFi extender from Amazon ( BTG Antenna Signal Range Booster for DJI Phantom 3 Pro Advanced Standard Phantom 4 & Inspire 1 Controller Signal Extender...

Hey everyone, Recently I got a phantom 3 4k and when I turn it on I hear a sort of ticking or popping noise coming from either the gimbal or the sonar sensors. The drone flies perfectly and the gimbal works fine, but I was just wondering - is this the sonar sensors making noise or is it an issue...
