If the Go app crashes then RTH from the screen won't work. Did you try toggling the left switch several times to manually initiate RTH? Was the LED on the controller still green or had it gone red?

If you switch cameras on an advanced it becomes a Pro (with the right firmware) so I guess if you switch the camera on a Pro it will become an advanced. The obvious visual difference is the Pro camera/gimbal has a small fan on top and the advanced doesn't. Perhaps if you check the Firmware...

I use a similar method. If my hat blows off its too windy. My calibrated hat is good to about 25kph but for the first week after a hair cut it drops to 20kph.
