I have the cheaper one you have shown and have used it successfully to charge my two batteries at the same time with no problems.

I only have two batteries and I have charged them both at the same time using my adapter. If I recall, you have to turn on the second battery after you connect it to the adapter in order for it to start charging.

The standard DJI app will do that. Just install the phone app on your iPad. It works fine.

If you review the comments on Amazon for these props, you'll see that these are not OEM DJI props. I wouldn't buy them.

Did you go to settings and turn on Ground Station?

I believe that wheel on the ground is used to rotate the top of the windmill so that the blades can face into the wind.
