I had the same problem with a P3 standard that may have hit the same tree as the one that you are working on! The problem was the logic board at the top of the gimbal assembly.

I had purchased a cheap cable from Amazon to replace this one which didn’t work. The first 6 digits were not on the cheap cable. The replacement DJI cable that I got has identical numbers on it to the original one.

I used a Phantom 3 standard for my build. The kit was purchased on Amazon. It took me around 12 hours to disassemble and reassemble. It looks awesome in flight!

I looked on Amazon last night and there was one listing for a genuine DJI cable for 39.99 usd.

Save your money, Chris. I had tried a cheap one from China, it didn’t work! Been there, done that! Most of the reviews on Amazon say the same thing. Dave

Your remote antenna definitely needs to be working before you go any further with troubleshooting.

I have the same problem with a Phantom 3 standard that was given to me crashed. I replaced the gimbal ribbon cable with a cheap one , which solved the chicken dance of the gimbal, then replaced it with a DJI cable. This solved my video transmission problems for about 10 flights when I lost video...
