I've tried this both ways, it's pretty hard to beat the "store bought" cases versus one made at home....It does pay to watch the prices and be ready to buy when the "iron is hot". Try the Litchi app and modify your antennae. I can routinely go farther than I can safely see my P3S.

Nigel, If you put a non-STC'd (FAA authorized) non-OEM part on your Cessna or Piper aircraft, you would be in violation. If the aircraft was involved in an "incident" and that part was discovered in the investigation....well, all I can say is I wouldn't want to be that pilot (or his A&P mech)...

CRAP!!! I just got my P3S unleased from the "porch chain" last night. I had to sync my data with DJI before the chain came off. I REALLY don't want anymore firmware "updates". (AUTEL ya'll should consider a "Trade-up" program for dissatisfied DJI owners for one of your drones)

I am registered in Alaska & Texas. I'd have to agree with with your N. Carolina board. If you are providing orthos, TIN's, contours, etc, which is information concerning the land that your client will rely upon to make business (I.e. "MONEY) decisions upon...., that is certainly "surveying" and...
