Hi all. I've got an almost new P3Pro and the remote doesn't want to charge. I'm getting lights moving when I plug in the charger but in a weird sort of pattern. See the video. There's also a really faint beep every 5 or 6 seconds. Much quieter than the normal remote beep. Has anyone seen this...

Oh nice. Always amazes me how well these things handle wind. Have you tried any corrections to remove that fisheye? Nice smooth flying! Saw a Phantom flying at the Urban Downhill event in Lyttelton yesterday, should be good to see what footage comes out of that :-)

Yes it's the Coastguard. Those are both surf rescue vessels but unfortunately it was dead flat when I filmed. I'll have another go when some swell arrives. Should look a lot better :-)

Suwaneeguy you are an idiot. First thing I think when I see your boring photo is 'Wow, an airport. There could be planes around and I probably shouldn't be here'. Does that thought not cross your mind? Do you need an attorney to tell you that? Do us all a favour and find another hobby.

No problem. I've done exactly that and it works just fine.

Just catch it. Bring it down slowly until it's within reach, grab a leg and hold down on the left stick until it shuts off. No risk of tipping over and breaking a prop.

This is awesome. I hate reading about how you need a 5D or GH4 to do 'real' aerial work but this just makes a joke of that. Amazing what the GoPro is capable of in the right hands. Just shows, it's what you do with it that counts. Congrats!

Actually I have, and the second battery also had this problem. This made me think it might be a problem with the P2 itself, however I gave the two small contacts a clean and I'm now getting more like 10 minutes out of that one. Not the best, but a lot better. The problem battery is still a 1...

I'm sure. The P2 will slowly decend if I take my hands off the sticks it will try to land. It's definitely low battery mode..
