I would get the 'cold weather' alert with my Phantom 3 Std. if I tried to fly under 45 degs F. I bought a battery warmer to solve that issue. Ran the battery in the warmer for a few minutes and then no more errors.
Just curious.. Not that the Std 3 is under warranty anymore but if aftermarket batteries were used when the units were still within warranty and the unit malfunctioned, would the after-market battery have voided the drone's warranty with DJI?
I've heard of other people having the same problem with the Phantom 3's.. .replace one of the motors and they don't properly solder the wires. Glad you got it fixed.
I still have my Phantom 3 Std. but have not flown it in a while since I have no found a cheap FAA-approved module yet. I do also have a Mavic Air 2 with the remote-ID firmware installed and active.
