Will the phantom three quick release prop guard thing mounted to the drone itself fit into a hardshell backpack with out the prop guard clipped on ,I do not want to do any modifications to the backpack I Am thinking about buying one off of amazon Thank you: Mr. Phantom Happy Flying

Ow sorry just saw it is a standard 4k if I was you I would by the adv or pro they are really nice I have the adv it works great they also have vision positioning system (sonar )

Umm no they will have to resister it when the get all registering your drone is just to let the government know that you own a drone but just tell the guy to register it And what type of phantom just curios

I have a very small one that doesn't make contact and I got it for 10 bucks on amazon

If I were you I would buy it , it sounds perfect for the conditions in which you will use it

It can help you catch it in some conditions and will make the legs a little less flimsy with the zip ties on tight

But for your use it would do very well the guard is very strong and very light

The gimbal and camera will not make contact with the gimbal guard , I have one it does good but if you have it on it will not fit in a hard shell backpack

I would update the firmware to get the best out of your phantom 3 advanced , and you also need to update the transmitter

I would update it,it doesn't take that long, and you can get tutorials on YouTube on how to update the firmware, and I think that if you don't update it won't fly correctly
