I am getting around 7-8 minutes with FC40, std props, Walkera G-2D metal (120 grams) gimbal, GoPro Hero #+ Black, std 2200 phantom lipo. I am getting 13-14 minutes with the MultiStar 4000. Total weight 1100 grams.

Yes, the videos for converting a Phantom 2 controller apply to my FC40 also. $6 of Radio Shack 5k linear potentiometer and a knob. You can put ink dots at favored tilts to easily go back to them.

I ordered some much stiffer rubber isolators for my Walkera 2D gimbal and all of the jello and jitter is gone with them! The supplied rubbers were not stiff enough.
