I quite agree with the comments about the flying. This is only a wonderful, novel, camera if you can fly. It's no different to flying an aircraft when you're in the cockpit (except for a less unhappy experience if you crash it) :) Spend your initial time thinking about the aircraft and practice...

I have a P3A but twice (you would think once was enough) I have been surprised to find on landing that the battery was not locked home. The battery was quite tight at the last push but there is no doubt about the strength of the latch once it is properly inserted.

I have recently acquired a P3 Advanced and after a little bit of flying, the controller has gone back to DJI for a new battery. I would be interested to know what video editing software you used for the Maiden Castle vid. I live between Dorchester and Blandford. Thanks, Mike

Fair enough, Seevee. I had been trying to get my controller and aircraft to talk to each other all day. It was a good feeling when the help on here brought me to a satisfactory conclusion :)

Absolutely spot on! I used a PC (rather than an iPad) to get and open the zip/bin file for updating both the aircraft and the controller (through the USB cable). I’m brand new to this so well done again for explaining it as well as you have. Mike
