I read some threads about keeping batteries warm (in a pocket) while flying in the cold.
Curious if the battery is too cold to create the power needed for lift would there possibly be any vibration if its too cold? I've had lots of flights with my P3P and flew it last night in 14 degree temps...
I fly my P3P almost entirely in commercial photo and film settings. I updated to the DJI Go App and the current firmware and while, it's definitely a hindrance, it's not unworkable. I've had Art Directors and Clients over my shoulder watching and yeah I've had a bunch of disconnects, but I just...
That's pretty much the answer. It's basically a ronin. But I need it to take off and fly out. So I'll have someone hand hold it and walk it through and then go up when its clear.
How easy is it to hold and take off from being handheld?
And not just hover, I was trying to do a move from the back, through the cabin and out the sunroof. Ibwas literally a couple inches from mailing it.
But like I said, I have a better way of doing it.
This was definitely a bad idea with my level of experience. But they insisted. Got allllll the way through and started up towards the sunroof and clipped the back prop guards and it tumbled down to the cabin. Only a couple minor scuffs on a table and the drone was fine.
It was a good experience...
So obviously the batteries have their life during flight. My question is with 4 batteries and 2 rapid chargers I should technically be able to fly indefinitely, but how long can the drone itself fly before needing a substantial break? There is a few minutes in between switching batteries, but is...
My P3P was delivered yesterday. Spent some time getting it all set up. Over the last couple weeks I spent a lot of time reading and watching vids to familiarize myself with the quad.
Got it up without a hitch. I was trying to go slow and take it easy. Felt my 1 acre back yard was enough wide...
