I just got a Samsung Tab A from Costco for about $200. Tried it out last night and it worked great. I really love using a tablet over my cell phone. It's a totally different experience.

I like the ND filters that just slide into the existing Camera lens holder. No need to worry about the weight or counter-balancing.

I am planning on getting a backpack for more portability as well and using this for the standard case. I'd like to keep the props on so I can just pull it out and go. Is there any way to bump it over to the side and still do this like you are saying or does it have to be centered? You still...

Thanks for sharing all the pictures. I just ordered a Seahorse case and they gave me some good ideas. I think I'm going to try to get the controller bumped in a bit towards the phantom so I can possibly get a few more battery slots if I need them.

What is it like flying with the goggles? Is it strange not being able to look up and see it LOS or is it better being able to see so clearly what your phantom camera is pointing at?

Interesting. Did you download the app from the Google play store or the DJI website? If you downloaded from the play store, you might want to try the one on the DJI website.

I got my Galaxy S4 to work by downgrading from Lollipop to KitKat. Before downgrading I had no video feed at all.

I would love to hear your theory about rooting making it worse. I'm running a rooted galaxy s4 with kitkat and it works just fine. Lollipop did not work at all so I had to downgrade.

I have my phone rooted and installed Clockwork Recovery which is a program that allows you to take full backups or flash other Android ROM's. In my case I had a full backup that I took before upgrading to Lollipop that I was able to restore from.
