We are just west of the Brazos River from Sienna. Honestly, you couldn't pay me enough to live over there. I have a few friends that live there and it's not for me.

We had some crazy storms today around Houston with a ton of flooding. So i figured why not get the drone out to check out our Neighborhood. In the back it was pretty bad as three houses where close to flooding. I sent a few pictures to 13 news here in Houston and they aired it a few times today.

I suppose 99% of all of the DJI stuff is already shipped to NA and Europe by sea. So I could only image this will have little to no effect on local sells.

Have you ever seen Traxxas ID connectors on how they integrate the balancing port directly into the actual charging lead? It works on the same principle.

you are correct, during landing you would have a greater chance of tipping over if you lower the landing gear. My thoughts were pertaining to flight only. So if you did this, I guess a person should practise catching their drone rather than landing it.

But they dont just send power to the Battery. If they did they would not need to connect to the balancing port as well. The charger itself is what will keep the cells balanced and conditions the cells. You dont need to have the balancing port connected to charge, without it would just supply...

Wouldn't you be lowering the CG? if so it seems like it would be more stable?

But if you lowered the landing gear you could lower the Gimbal. Unless you would not mind the camera below the landing gear. If you lower the gimbal enough you wont see the props.

Pretty cool, I have been working out of Lagos for the past 5 years. Kind of neat to see these places from the view of a drone rather then a couple 1000 ft up in a helicopter. Though one thing, I sure as hell would not walk bare footed on a Nigerian Beach..
