As soon as there is 3D GPS fix or even 2D, there shall be no issues in GPS mode or RTH. Basically, you'll need 4 sats locked in for 3D fix and 3 for 2D fix. But here DJI wants to go for sure, so this is why they set 6 as minimum. Actually the problem is on the other side - 6 shall be no problem...
