    Be mindful of the wind strength and direction. Stay above any saltwater mist blowing off the tops of waves.

    The time shows up for flights lagged the same dt you are viewing them. It will turn into a date if you view it days later.

    A Verizon update yesterday has fixed the "USB Connected for Charging" default on my Galaxy S6. All is well once again.

    Transitioning to longer flights beyond visual range

    Stay above everything and make sure RTH is set to come home high. I've had great luck flying from my back yard up to 2.5 miles away with a stock P3P.

    Water nerves.

    I have no filters. I shot in Log -2 -2 -2. The exposure was handled automatically by the p3p. The sun was being filtered by clouds to some extent. The color was modified in Adobe Premiere to my liking using Lumetri color correction effect.

    Swipe down from the top and touch USB connected for charging...change that to MTP transfer.

    Oddly, it isn't reflected in the DJI Go app. On the late afternoon I flew, the gliderport was not active though there was at least one RC glider being flown from the north side of the gliderport.

    My trip out to sea. I'm of the opinion that a crash from altitude over land or in the water will most likely be a total loss in either case.

    Weak image transmission signal error at 2 feet

    Turn everything off. Remove and re-insert the micro-sd card. Turn everything back on. My P3P seems to be very picky about the sd card being inserted just right or I see similar behavior to what you are describing.

    Lifting stuff with the Phantom 3

    Over the weekend we found out one of my son's friends was sick, so we put together a small bag with cookies and a get well card and delivered it. Very light load. No problems other than wind and depth perception.
