I use the DJI hard shell back pack. It fits everything perfectly without putting strain on anything. Works very well but unfortunately there is no room for a tablet which is the only downside in my opinion.

I just put the update files on a USB stick, plug it in to the controller then turn it on. It takes a few seconds till it starts to update. You will know when it is done as the beeping will stop and if it is a success, the little light on the left of the controller will turn from blue to green...

Thanks for the helpful replies guys. I reckon I got my P3 out the rain soon enough to save to much water getting in. Nice and dry now :-) Just can't wait to get out to fly again, such an awesome machine!

I reckon it only got about a minute and half of light rain so hopefully not to much rain got into the motors. Just my luck on a sunny day!

Was out for my second flight with my P3P today. Was about 12 minutes in when it started to lightly rain (was beaming sunshine on take off). I was about 500m away when the rain started and came back at full speed to land and get in doors. There was no change in the way it flew and landed...

That looks awesome. Wish DJI would do something like that near me! The motors on the phantom 3 look like they are angled slightly, similar to the inspire.

Wow, this case issue has really got you riled up? My post was merely to show the case in question, not say 'this is the case we will be getting with our P3P'. If I get one with my P3P I will be sure to let you know though [emoji23]

Could the case in question be the one in this video??? I noticed as well that the case is not inclusive of the parts list on the DJI website for the P3P. Here's hoping it is included as it does look really good.
