I'd just go and file through Drone Zone. It will probably get approved anywhere from within the same day to a week. It's not, it'll help keep pilots out of the airspace that they are not supposed to be in. It was another example of the dangers if pilots are flying over people are moving vehicles and hit something they don't see. It falls on to a expressway, group of people etc.

If you are a commercial 107 pilot you can get in a automatic LAANC area within seconds. You'll have height limits. If you need to go outside though limits you have to file directly with the FAA. It's been taking me less than one week.
