Haven't had problems and its better than most methods ive seen on this forum or anywhere. I agree under stress (flex) it might not work if you only put a small amount that's why I filled it all the way to the motor post so the glue will be attached to a lot of the structure (plastic) in the arm.

No pictures and the epoxy I used was LOCTITE epoxy and it say for plastic on the package.

Do you have to update the controller if it prompts you to, and if you don't update will it just stay there saying update on the DJI go app, but not hurt anything?

That's crazy. I don't know that I've ever seen it on the top portion of the bird. Saving grace is it is on top and 200 times easier to replace than the bottom if you decide to replace it yourself.

Dji is using the same shell not the generation 2 shell with more support in the plastic. It may be do to over tightening too.
