Ok. Updated the aircraft and batteries with SD card. Updated the controller to the latest firmware, but whenever I turn it on, I get a message that the controller needs t be updated. Is this a known issue and does anyone have a fix? Thanks!

Thanks. I suspected it was not in the root directory.

A couple of quick questions: - if using a mac do I have to unzip? I believe I can just copy the .bin file onto the send card. When putting it onto the root directory does that mean I put it in the sub folder under DCIM? - I have not been able to generate a text file. I suspect I am doing...

Jacob. I have some credit at DJI and I am going to order a phantom 3 standard. The credit runs out Jan 22. I would prefer an extra battery instead of a back pack. Do you know if this will be offered before Jan 22?

I've had a hard time dealing with DJI so I don't think that they will swap the back pack for a battery, but I'll ask. Anyone have any insight as to when they usually run the extra battery deal. Too bad they changed them. I still have 2 P2 batteries with only several flights on them that I can't use.

lost my P2V+ to a fly away a few months ago. Was able to get some credit from DJI but it expires Jan 22. Going to buy a P3 standard. I see now that they are offering a free backpack (which I don't really need as I have a pelican type case). I was hoping that they had the extra battery offer...
