I installed DU Battery Saver Pro. Set it up to kill all background apps. Works good for me.

This is what I use it's 50cm x 40cm Enough space for Drone and RC makes it a lot easier when working with ND Filters.

You certainly fell into the DJI trap there. They would like everybody to use Apple products to make their job a lot easier. Why I don't know as Android has been the market leader by far over the last few years. I'm sticking with my Samsung Tab (A) and when they block that it will Bye Bye DJI.
