They are restricting it to force you to do the new updates and registration. They are trying to help control the idiots that keep getting the j system in trouble by flying where they shouldn't.

Not trying to be rude but looks like your asking almost full retail on used products. You can get a refurbished pro from DJI for less then that with a warranty.
