no its not posible.. you must upgrade all the phantom.... i do it , and it worth every penny

3 phantoms 3 years, phantom 1, 2 and 3... only one crash whit phantom 2 the zenmuse died, it was my mistake a pilot error , I have not had any hardware or software failure

My note 4 was stolen last week so I have now a Samsung J7 and works very good, and have a plus, the brightness of the screen it's great... Much better than the note 4.

I always do handcatch but never do a hand launch .. And i think I'm not going to try it .

i had the p3s and now i have the p3a .... the difference its huge, 600m whit the standard and a lot of video and transmission lost .. vs 4km whit the advanced, whit the video and control channel whit no lost of signal at all... the extra money for the advanced worth every penny

yes.... so I say it should have its own rechargeable battery, not use the phantom battery
