I've been flying my Phantom 2 with the Zenmuse HD-3D for 3 years now with no issues until today. Flew with a bad battery and had a gravity / earth issue and broke the ribbon that goes from the gimbal to the GoPro. Is there a way to fix that? Or Maybe there is a cable that will go from my Hero3+...
I was figuring to do my sat. lock and compass calibration away from the Jeep as I always do and then set in on the roof. The plastic roof is actually pretty thick but yes there is a rollbar. However it's a 4 door and I could center it towards the back where there would be no metal within at...
#1, I like to take the jeep to many places I want to fly that are just all dirt. At times I take part of my roof off and use it as a pad for take-offs and landings. But do you think just using the rooftop period while on the Jeep would be an issue? It's a hardtop but obviously not metal.

Yes stock antennas. I would like to upgrade in the future but as long as I seem to be playing things on the cautious side I guess there is no real rush. And need to do my research on what's.
It is the Applegate Lake in Oregon.
I found that tool on Google maps,,, thanks again. And that distance is 4000 ft. So roughly 3/4 mile. It sure looks longer than that when it's all over water LOL!!
I agree Harry,, thanks. And I think I either need to remember to tilt down more when flying into the sun or get a filter to do away with that darn prop shadow lines. That really bugs me.
By looking at this short clip would you fly from this spot to the walk bridge in the distance? Being new I'm just trying to figure out if I'm being overly careful when flying.

It may not be very exciting but it was my first day of really flying around a bunch of tree's. Between going through 3 batteries at the park and 3 batteries filming a buddies property that has a bunch of tree's the bird still came home in one piece !!
The skies are not blue because the smoke is...
I always wonder which way I should have my antenna's pointing. The one on the bird itself I normally just leave it pointing straight down. And the one on the controller and my screen I just aim which ever way they happen to be bumped into at the time.
Any rule of thumb I should be paying...
