Is there any reduction in performance with the props on p4p?

It is worthless if you need it for waypoint flights. Otherwise, it is ok. Just understand that you cannot use third party software like leichi etc. you are stuck with DJI GO which works fine for most flights.

My experience with DJI support is that they have no knowledge of their products and at best you will get inaccurate information. PhantomPilots is a much better source for useful information

If you want to do waypoint flights DO NOT buy the p4p + since it is basically useless for those type of flights.

I have attempted take offs in 10mph winds and In two instances it caused the bird to topple. Is there a technique that will minimize this problem? I always take off into the wind direction.

You just relink the new controller to the aircraft. I have both controllers ( p4p and p4p) and switch between the two due to the p4p + being useless for waypoint flights.
