Pretty sure if I could mount a set of ears like that on the p2v I could extend range to five or six miles.

Can you reconnect the original gimbal/camera and see if you can connect to the camera? Do you have an alternative device (phone, tablet) you can load the DJI app to and try connecting with that?

Thanks for the tip, but I tried it every where from 10 to 100 and it seems to make virtually no difference to the run on effect.

Is there a way to prevent manual pitch inertia? You know, that effect where you move the camera tilt a little bit in the app and it just keeps going.

I note the ad listing does not mention "plug-and-play". Unless you are good with a soldering iron and tinkering with gimbal settings I'd proceed with caution.

Unless the Ragecam lens mod weighs a lot (I'm not familiar with its weight) you should be OK. Maybe rig up a counter weight if the mod is heavy. What profile do you have loaded?

Can you post a couple of photos of your installation? When you say not working, do you mean not working at all or not working properly?
