I had done the hdmi add on 5 months ago. Suddenly the sub port quit. I put the old USB back on and it communicated and DJI go app now works. I've ordered another HDMI from DJI

I installed the hdmi module and it failed so I ordered a new one And put the original back on

Having lots of crash experience with other drones (walkera 350 flipped and augered in on maiden flight) if the damage as you say Is gimble and 3 props I'd fix the bird.

The first thing I did when I got my phantom was I bought a new shell. it's it's in my closet. I've never crashed but I have a new Shell waiting for the eventuality

I just bought a new p3 shell a and I'm going to make a mold then lay up carbon fiber shells. I'll post here when I'm done

Sorry to say but we need either carbon fiber shells or titanium. That implemented would be end of story. Probably carbon fiber would be the most practical to produce.

Also I would recommend ordering online 83 or 4 foot mini to micro HDMI cable the local Best Buy does not have that you can Jerry rig it was some adapters but last night I found the cable on eBay for about $3.50

OK I just now flew for the first time my fat shark dominator HD goggles with the HDMI board upgrade and it was amazing. I had bought these several months ago to fly with another quad and I never got around to making them work but with the Phantom three and the HDMI upgrade it was plug and play...

59 and have a 3Pro
