The fan thing sounds minor but the constant alarm would be a cause for concern and a bit disconcerting for the customers if they're within earshot. The saga continues, unfortunately.

I must be the exception then...I had no aviation knowledge (or license) before taking this test. Knowing that I had no knowledge, I did study for a solid week beforehand, probably 25 or 30 hours total. Aced the test. (Nobody was more surprised than me.)

I ran into a few unfamiliar questions I had to think through. The RemotePilot101 course does a good job of getting you through most of the material on the exam.
