There's a thread here... About the gimbal motors get hot... And about using counterweights... Did you try to star the drone with filter on and wait some minutes (1 or 2) to see if motor get warm?- ftomas

1.07.0090 FW is now official
I got 1200m in rural area 5.8 still fine but video was weak the last 300m. I am on CE. OEM No mods- ftomas

:) i understand... before use, read the the thread.. What firmware do you have now? I have 1.06.08, and i am using magic power... but just the last few flights... last flight 1.5km, country side, no interference, video always fine- ftomas

Stuck in a decision mode ! Downgrade, Stay or Upgrade ?
If you have no problems... I would say stay with the firmware you have now.. About video link.. You are in Europe? If so you can try magic power v5 - see the thread about it... I use in eu the 1.0.68 with it and made 1,5 km flights- ftomas

Are you sure? On specs dji states Phantom 3 Standard - Specs, FAQ, manual, video tutorials and DJI GO - DJI RC eirp fcc 20dbm and ce 16dbm I think this is for 5.8 And for live view app its 100mw that is equal to 20dbm and they don't differ ce from fcc....- ftomas

Even in atti, if you put left stick full back it wont fall of sky.... maybe it will land hard... Its important to known if the motor stop spining or not in mid air...- ftomas
