I can't do anything other than switch between "Mode 1" & "Mode 2"

I am having trouble using RC Assistant on Windows 7 & 10. I can select mode, but when I hit Calibrate icon, nothing happens. Any clues? Sorry if too far off topic.

I bought a used P2NV on ebay, and it showed up with no manuals. I am struggling to figure everything out. I appear to have a Version 1.0, which means nothing to me and isn't showing up on my manual searches.
