After playing with toy helicopters (indoors) for a few years I decided to take a leap into the "intermediate" league and get a Phantom 4. Living in NYC makes it tough to find places to fly so I take it with me everytime I leave the city. My primary interests are landscape and wildlife video.
I got interested in UAV technology to pair with my GIS background. I am interested in using it for activities in the environmental advocacy sector. I have created maps for Riverkeeper and Food & Water Watch.
I have also been shooting real estate for various clients since 2005 and am interested in the possibility of providing my service in this sector as well.
I have a previous career in the music industry as a keyboardist/recording engineer and it just dawned on me that this could be very useful in producing more compelling footage compilations.
