Caught your live stream. You did have a live mic on too. So where are you? what are these ponds all about? I thought some live streams have a chat area also in YouTube that would be interesting to use. Cool live steam have never caught one before.

Don't forget to watch the little lights above the camera that flash red and green while it is updating. Once it is completed the beeping changes and the light turns solid green.

I kind of doubt the guy on the turbine was not a worker with access to get up there. My guess he has already been fired. My second guess would be that OSHA is looking into this also. No one should be up there without a safety harness and be tied off. Probably should not be there alone either.

Did you ever come up with a tripod for the Phantom. I'm thinking the same thing you were. Why not utilize my 4k camera for other uses.

WOW thanks for posting this. This is the first time I have heard this and it sure makes perfect sense. Anyone having problems with the app crashing should probably use the return to the location of the transmitter option. Things brings up a whole lot of questions. What if you have signal loss...

Thanks for your help in keeping a better perspective on drone pilots. "Over a dozen instances"? Have there been that many in California alone? I wish they would mention some of the good things drones have done in a few rescue operations and even fire operations.

Maybe off topic but can these log files and their GPS information be used to locate a downed drone. If so what a great feature this would be. I'm wondering if it could report the GPS coordinates that I could then input to another GPS device that would then direct me to my down drone.

I'm not a camera guy so let me ask this: What is the closest I can get to an object with my Phantom 3 camera lens and still be in focus? I was thinking of hand holding the Phantom for a close-up of something. I assume I can not do anything macro like with it. Thanks
