No, and you don't need it. Check specs on Apple site. I have iPad Mini with Retina Display and the wifi unit do not have GPS. The cell version do. The P3 has a GPS.

You be You be fine with the iPad. The GPS is in the Phantom and as long as you cash the maps (using wifi before heading out). Only thing that will not work is dynamic home point.

Sure it will work with the recommended devises, however you are referring to video issue, this is directly related to the devise processing power. Just because it works might not mean it will not have lag when you compare different devises.

Think you might have missed the most obvious choice: that this will be effected by what devise and processor power the user will have.

The lag you are experience is probably due to your phones processor, not the Phantom.

I am using iPad Mini with Retina Display, latest processor. It is working for maps in the Inspire 1 app so must be something else? Know that if the maps are "locked" (rotation) in the Inspire App. it is showing the same problem, with not displaying maps in recordings. As soon as I "unlock" the...

@ FPVFLYER. When I use the app and record the flight using Shou non of the maps except "Radar Map" is visable when I play back video. Any ideas what might be wrong? EDIT: It behaves just like if "assistant touch" was not active. Makes no difference if I toggle the switch on or off.

Think the tab with the grey led with tab showing "Naza Mode" only works in Phantom mode and indicates flight leds.
