Thats actually pretty badass. When I had mine in Austin, this would of been nice for some of the hiking trails.

Or I can tether the ipad to my iphone. If just using location I don't think it would eat up too much data.

So this was interesting. I hooked up my mom's new iPad Air 2 to my phantom 3 and the DJI app said safe to fly (GPS). I thought the wifi iPads didn't have GPS?

Yeah Apple should be announcing the new iPhone 6S, iPad pro, and iPad mini 4 today I'm holding off a tad to see what the mini 4 will offer over the 3. Right now I can spend marriott points and get a free mini 3 64 gb with cellular with my points.
