Have no problem with them. I'm not sure if they are better or not. Maybe they work better with a firmware upgrade...Lol! They are stiffer, they are quieter. I see no gain in flying time. Perhaps it is a marginal improvement.

You can fly -I've altitude from the POI. I do this all the time in mountainous country. So if you launch from a plane, then I suppose the sky is the limit!

I see no difference between 2.4.2 and 2.4.3. The NFZs popped up in 2.4.2. Neither stopped me from powering up to a 1.2m hover in my part of the world. No unlock prompts either. I'm at 1.3.20 and haven't been past 1.4. The RC is at 2.5.

Interesting. Thanks. I have a feeling with IOS 9 if you do not update your apps via computer using iTunes, the backup simply backs up a "thin-app" which is just a pointer to instruct the device to download the app again which of course will be the latest version published in the App Store.

Was it a full encrypt ITunes backup that gave you back 2.4.3? I regret moving to IOS9.x and having to resort to the whole JB thing as future insurance... It would seem that an iTunes backup/restore is the last saving grace.

I'm staying 2.4.3 until I get a handle on what else is lurking in 2.5. I get NFZ warning on 2.4.3 and 1.3.20 but no other surprises. No doubt the Go App freeflyzone database has been expanded upon.

How does Autopilot compare to FPV Camera + Mission Planner bundle? I had FPV Camera and the Misson Planner but have yet to try it out.

That would appear to be the case. It would seem that in order for them to enforce GEO Fencing and device disablement, the firmware needs to be flashed onto the UAV. Running the latest RC firmware and Go App on 1.30.20 only gives the usual NFZ warning message, nothing else.
