Correct. Many of us believe the camera records video at 2.7k, yet due to all the shake in the 2 access gimbal it digitally stabalizes the movement that can't be dampened by the gimbal, and thus only puts out a 1080p video... but one that is very smooth. DJI may unlock this in the future...

DJI used a different system in the past which made a controller incompatible with updates and connection. I fixed mine by going to the DJI website and finding this old firmware update... it was still on the site. Place the firmware file on a USB stick the place stick in controller and start...
