I never turn VPS off and have never flown indoors. I don't hand catch but land on my landing pad.

I bought the Taco ones - Taco RC Store -- and am very happy with them. Also bought the $5 case which is very nice.

I have an iPad mini Retina and I never put it in airplane mode or disable anything. Never had a problem with video except when I fly too far or forget to fold the antennas out.

Sorry, I thought the question was is there an advantage to recording in 4K if it is being viewed in 1080p, which is what I do.

Sorry, all I can think is that the sd card connector is not getting good contact. Hopefully someone else here can help.

Just to be sure you are plugging into the connector on the gimbal, not the front of the P3.

A are you using the card that came with it. Have you formatted it through the pilot app. Can you see the card when you plug the phantom in via a USB cable to the gimbal connector?

If you mean from the phantom, no special software required. Either connect a cable from the phantom (connector just above the gimbal), turn on the controller and then the phantom or remove the SD card from the phantom and connect it through an adapter of some type to a USB port. The card will...
