i got full tilt motion using the lever without the aps/extender. Yeah, you need to see where you shoot would be ideal. ****, it takes too long for warranty claim on the extender..coming to 4 weeks already.

Re: Bird down! i believe the OP said the battery on the V+ was already dead..it flyaway till the battery was dead and crashed. so i guess find my phantom would not work.

Re: Bird down! try and contact dji north america as suggested. LHS sometimes are too much sales oriented with practically no support. some LHS probably don't even know how to set/configure it - hence lack in support. you may need to explain - 4th flight and flyaway as the jizz of it. how could...

i really got to think of a way to protect the ribbon in case of a cut/damaged ribbon.

Re: Bird down! can try it as Moose suggested. This flyaway is a known and unknown phenomena - what causes it? i believe this product is not extensively tested before commercial launch..Anyhow, its only 4th flight..so its practically brand new and not fully tested/stability in using it.
