The first thought that comes to mind about trying different USB cables is that the one I am using is the original one that came with the Phantom and it does work with my smartphone. Surely this USB cable should be the right one to use.

I think the Standard uses different filters that just push on.

I just printed some labels on my pc with microsoft office with Reward Name Phone number And then taped one on to the top of the Phantom with Scotch tape. Cheap, easy and does the job.

Is it my imagination or are those annoying beeps a lot quieter with the upgrade?
