Update I sent it back to DJI in Holland and they replaced the main control board free of charge under warranty. Got it back today and everything seems fine but not taken it outside to fly yet. Well its at DJI NL and it needs a new Main Control Board, glad i sent it back now and not tried to fix it myself

That remains to be seen, I'll argue my case if I need to, a Phantom 3 shouldn't go faulty after 3 weeks regardless where I bought it and it was boxed and sealed not used.

I have attached pictures of the error, are you absolutely sure a new IMU will solve the problem? I have read that maybe swapping the internal SD card could solve the problem also Regards Adam

How much is an IMU, are you in the UK? I've just emailed DJI to get a RMA number but the turnaround on these things is very slow I hear

What version of the app and on what platform was there the option to format the internal sd card?

Well no luck there, the card is write protected so can't format it!

Did you solve this problem as I am getting the exact same problem

From a seller on Ebay, it was new and sealed but he is not a dealer so don't think I'll get much luck there

I've connected the Phantom 3 to laptop using flight data mode this is allowing me access to the internal card. I'm copying all the flight data to laptop then I'm going to check for errors on the card and then reformat it via my PC laptop

This is so dam annoying though as I've only just got it and basically been kept wrapped up in cotton wool, I would understand it if I had crashed or knocked it

Yes it did and looking at my screenshot of the IMU readings my values look fine so I don't think hitting it would cure the problem. Not sure if the internal SD card would help, I would like a way of knowing if the internal sd card is faulty without taking it apart first
